Delete your Better B Grub account

This page explains how to delete your account in the Better B Grub app, made by Better B (getbetterb.com), and what happens to your data.

Option 1: Delete in the app (fastest)

1. Open Better B Grub and sign in.
2. Tap the Account tab.
3. Tap Profile & delete account.
4. Tap Delete account and confirm.

Your account is deleted right away. Before you start:

• You can’t delete while you have an open paid order (paid, confirmed, ready, or out for delivery), as a buyer or as a cook. Wait until it’s finished or cancelled.
• Any membership (Buyer Plus or a cook/driver membership) is cancelled with Stripe first, so you won’t be billed again.

Option 2: Ask us to delete it (no app needed)

Use the email address on your account. We’ll email you to confirm it’s really you, then delete the account within [30] days. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM TIMEFRAME]

What gets deleted

• Your login (email and password).
• Your name, phone number, profile photo, saved address and saved location, and push notification token.
• Delivery addresses and map locations on your past orders.
• Your notifications.
• Your Money & taxes records: expenses, mileage trips and settings.
• Your AI helper conversations.
• Cooks: your kitchen photos, uploaded documents (like food handler card and insurance), pickup address and location, ADHS registration number, bio, and your link to your Stripe payout account. Your active meal listings are cancelled.
• Drivers: your driver profile (phone, vehicle details and plate, service area).

What we keep, and for how long

• Order and payment records (what was ordered, amounts, tips, fees, dates) are kept with your name and contact info removed, so cooks, drivers and Better B can keep accurate accounting and tax records. Kept for [7 years]. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM]
• Cooks who have sold meals: the cook profile is kept as “Deleted cook” (with personal details removed) so past orders still make sense. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM PERIOD]
• A record that the account was deleted (account ID and date) for security and audit. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM PERIOD]
• Stripe keeps its own payment, payout and identity records under its own rules and the law, separate from us. See Stripe’s privacy policy.
• Backups may hold deleted data for a short time until they roll over. [ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM PERIOD]
• Photos you uploaded with a problem report or a delivery, and receipt photos, may be kept for [PERIOD] while we finish removing them. [IN PROGRESS / ATTORNEY TO CONFIRM]
